Pres. Obama Delivers Commencement Speech to Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, TN

On May 16, 2011, Pres. Barack Obama, the first U.S. African American president, delivered the commencement speech to the Booker T. Washington class of 2011. The BTW class received the honor after winning the Race to the Top Commencement Speech contest with its video that garnered national attention. BTW is over 100 years old and is Memphis' oldest African American high school and among the oldest in the United States of America. Also, shown are some other VIP attendees.
