A REVIEW – JUST WRIGHT

If you’re looking for a light-hearted romance, then JUST WRIGHT, starring Queen Latifah is the right way to go. It’s nice to see an old-fashioned romance, and it’s even nicer when it’s teamed with basketball, which like love is another American pastime. Delights in this movie are, of course, Queen Latifah herself, rapper Common, who is showing that he has some acting chops, and Paula Patton who gives a good performance as an anti-heroine. It was also a delight to see Phylicia Rashad of Cosby TV Show fame back on the big screen. Also, this movie has no profanity. That’s a rarity, and but that does not take away one bit of how romantic this one is.  Head for the movie!

This gets four drinking gourds.
