Memphis Public Employees to Discuss
Contract Grievances at
Memphis, TN, March 15, 2012—Members of city government, academia,
and organized labor will gather at the 2012 Tennessee
Labor-Management Mid-Year Conference to participate in workshops and
discussion groups aimed at fostering better relations between labor
and management. Public employee labor organizations hope the
conference’s theme of cooperation will prompt city leaders into
addressing their concerns, such as recognition of their rights as
well as restoration of the 4.6% of their pay recently cut in
violation of signed agreements. |
