Los Angeles – Oprah sits down with bestselling author and Omega Institute co-founder Elizabeth Lesser on an all-new episode of “Super Soul Sunday” this Sunday, April 27 at 11 a.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.  Immediately following at 12 p.m. ET/PT is “Chapter 6” of the groundbreaking series “Oprah & Eckhart Tolle: A New Earth,” where Oprah and Eckhart further discuss the “pain-body.”

In the episode, Oprah sits down Elizabeth for a heart to heart conversation about her sister’s battle with cancer and how becoming her bone marrow donor transformed their relationship.  Author of the New York Times bestseller “Broken Open: How Difficult Times Can Help Us Grow,” Elizabeth is once again broken open in the midst of a challenging, yet spiritually enlightening time. Elizabeth is the only viable bone marrow donor for her sister Maggie, and whether Maggie's body accepts or rejects Elizabeth's marrow is a matter of life and death. Elizabeth will share with viewers why the marrow transplant is a metaphor for a deepening relationship with her sister, how she is navigating this challenging time, and the relevant spiritual practices people can all apply to help them grow.
