VERNON E. ASH INTERVIEWS "GREAT VOICES IN HISTORY SPEAK ON DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR." “Great Voices in History Speak on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” featuring exclusive interviews by the late Vernon E. Ash, an award winning journalist and columnist for The Mid-South Tribune and the Black Information Highway. Mr. Ash interviewed historical figures Rev. Samuel B. Kyles (who was on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel when Dr. King was assassinated); Rev. James L. Netters; photographer Ernest C. Withers; and Kwame Ture (formerly Stokely Carmichael). Mr. Ash serves as narrator and producer of this 1994 audio history that recalls the events of Dr. King’s assassination in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4, 1968. As a bonus, this historic audio presents a special theatrical performance by actor Moses Peace entitled “What Would Dr. King Say Now?”, which was written and produced by Vernon E. Ash.
